Our protagonist is attempting to reason with his opponent in order to avoid fighting. It does not appear that Jahovac will listen...

Why should the main characters of all sorts of action Anime have to act tough or be prone to fighting? There are few stories that have the main characters with characteristics that are uncommon for action heroes, like Neon Genesis Evangelion. However, I did not want my main character to be constantly scared like Shinji, but I just wanted my character to prefer peaceful resolutions. I beleive that is what most people would do in real life anyways.
