Our protagonist appears to be surrounded by hooded figures with crossbows. What can he do to get out of this situation?

Obviously, I wanted the voices of these characters wearing gas masks to sound muffled, so I made their speech bubbles look different. I plan to do certain visual tricks with dialogue at times in order to convey certain things to my audience.

If you were wondering where I got the inspiration for the design of Zheph's one wheeled vehicle, and here are the images I took reference from. I understand that it is rather hard to believe that such a vehicle could possibly exist, but I assure you there are people who have conceived it. It requires a lot of careful balancing of the vehicle so that it won't fall over too easily, yet can turn by just leaning from side to side. And it can only go a certain speed in order to constantly balance on one wheel, yet cannot go too fast or else it would just fall backwards completely. This means that Zheph has had to practice tremendously in order to ride this vehicle, and since this vehicle's weight has been calibrated with his own, he is the only individual who can drive it.

The stand can at least work in real life because it creates a triangle of points for which the vehicle can rest on.
