The Black Power Ranger at Connecticon 2014

Here is a video of Walter Emanuel Jones, AKA the original Black Mighty Morphing Power Ranger, at the Press Junket at Connecticon 2014. I remember watching the series when I was younger and enjoying myself. It was interesting seeing him in person after all these years.

I was a little surprised at some of the questions people asked. I could have sworn people would have asked "How much karate did you have to study for this role?" or "Did it ever seem odd that certain Power Rangers were assigned certain colors? Didn't the creators of the show realize that it looked a bit racist and sexist to assign the white girl to be the pink ranger, the Asian girl to be the Yellow Ranger, and the African American boy to be the Black Ranger?"

Page 142 is finished, and pages 145 and 146 are in black and white, but have speach bubbles now.

Here is a sketch I had drawn for the book I have been comissioned to make a cover for.

Upcoming Events

I am taking a few weeks off. I will still be working on pages, both old and new, but until I can get caught up to speed with my own scedual, there will be no new pages. I have various art projects that I have to work on and they all require my attension. I will also try to reearrange certain things on this website.

There are currently 40 days until the end of my Kickstarter crowd funding project. I extended the time frame from 30 days to 60. It appears from what I have gathered from close friends and relatives, this will work out better. However, I still require help from as many people who are willing to donate. I would love to get this web comic uploaded at a fater rate with better quality, but I need the funds for some new equipment. Thank you all for at least reading my web comic series!

I have reconsidered submitting artwork for Chessiecon. I have mailed artwork and prints, which will both be availible for sale, to the convention in Maryland. I beleive this will be good to get the word out for my web comic series.

It appears that I did not get a vendor's table at DrawnCon. I would have been notified by now if I was given a table. That is unfortunate, but I will try again for next year.

I am trying to get a table at Anime Boston's Artists' Gallery again. If I am not sucessful there, I will try the dealers' room again.

I will be going to the Genesis 26th Annual Gala at Mechanics Hall in Worcester tomorrow! They accepted one of my older peices of which I did in college, and it will be availible for sale at the Gala.
